Lightning Talks – Germinating Ideas McNair, Daniel [1], Tu'tsi, Trent [1], Rocha, Dawn [1], Ruuska, Alex [1], Buckles, Avi [1]. The Flora of JI Ranch in Pinal County, Arizona, USA. The JI Ranch, located near Top-Of-The-World, in Pinal County, Arizona, occupies approximately 306 acres (124 hectares) and ranges in elevation from 4432 ft (1351 m) to 5004 ft (1525 m) above sea level. The site hosts a diverse assemblage of plant species including culturally important plants such as agave (Agave spp.) and Emory Oak (Quercus emoryi) as well as plants of conservation concern such as Arizona hedgehog cactus (Echinocereus arizonicus ssp. arizonicus). We present photographic illustrations of the landscape in and around JI Ranch along with a summary of botanical and ethnobotanical data collected there.
