Man, Plants and Microbes, who is the winner?

In this triangular battle between man, plants and microbes and inspite of the formidable and sophisticated weapons from the combined arsenals of man and plants in putting a permanent stop to the menace caused by these microbes respectively, the pertinent question to ask ourselves is, are these sufficient and are we sure these microbes are not winning?. I think they are winners at least for now. As powerful as these microbes are, the cells of eukaryotic microbes are similar to plants and animals cells in that their DNA is enclosed within a nuclear membrane. They can exist as unicellular, multicellular or cell cluster. Man and plants are suffering in the hands of these unseen living things which are found all around us. Millions of dollars are spent every year to combat these microbes but the result we are getting is not encouraging. But are we going to fold our arms until these microbes devastate the human race? It is not yet over until it is over, hence, struggle continues.
