Any graduate or undergraduate student that is a member of ASPT and/or BSA may apply to have their
field trip fees reimbursed - up to $100.00.
Only one reimbursement per person.
Reimbursements will be issued as a refund on your registration credit card and
will be issued AFTER the conference.

Botany 2022 Field Trips
Make time to Explore the Botany and the Beauty of the Anchorage Area and Beyond!
Field Trips are open to all registered attendees of Botany 2022 including spouses/companions and family members. (They must pay the full trip registration fee.) All trips require pre-registration and are on a first-come and first-served basis. Fees include transportation, admission fees, field guides (if provided), continental breakfast, water, and where indicated, lunch. All trips will have knowledgeable guides to be sure you experience the botany of the area to the fullest!

- Sunday, July 24 - Botany in Action Project! Weed Smackdown!
We are partnering with Alaska State Forestry Service to pull invasive weeds (mainly yellow alfalfa and bird vetch) along the coastal trail at Elderberry Park in Anchorage. -
Post-Conference - Thursday, - July 28

In addition each day there will be a field trip to the
Alaska Botanical Garden

Schedules are subject to change...you will be notified by email. When registering please indicate your first and second choices. All efforts will be given to give you your first choice, and you will be notified before the conference.
Fees for Field Trips are non-refundable if canceled after July 1.
All trips will leave from the Dena'ina Center by bus.
